Leadership Pittsburgh Development Initiative Alumni

Past Chapter President of Kappa Delta Pi 

Lead the Intermediate Unit into the electronic world and supported a quick turn around during COVID shutdown to allow for continued services to students and schools without losing instructional time.

Worked with software developers to find an electronic student management systems that would meet the needs of both our early intervention and nonpublic programs. 

Developed an all-encompassing transition program at a cyber school that was able to meet the needs of students in both the cyber and brick and mortar environments. 

Developed in house job training programs for students with special needs that led to employment beyond graduation. 

Co-chaired a yearly job training day for students with an IEP across Allegheny County that included seminars, interviews, and interactive sessions. This included creating partnerships with local and national businesses.

Member of a statewide initiative to support students with special needs in nonpublic school settings as well as report to the state the issues students and staff are facing in these environments.

Created a workshop on Google Sites that allowed all staff to have an interactive website prior to the COVID shutdown that prevented a break in instructional time for student and also gave families at home a resource to better support their learners during this time.
